Participating in online surveys is one of my favorite ways to make extra money outside of my business.

Surveys are fun to take and they’re flexible, meaning that I can take one while I’m cooking dinner and earn a couple dollars for my time.

I’ve found that online surveys are one of the best ways for me to make some extra spending money every month without picking up more work hours and taking time away from my family.

I’ve taken surveys on the web for several years now, so I’ve tried a lot of the panels you’ve probably heard about. Although I only actively participate in a few of my favorites, I know a lot about the top survey panels on the web from trying them out in the past.

Here’s a list of 30 of the best survey sites for money I’ve come across and have used over the years that can easily get you a little more cash flow every month!

Looking to skip the list? Take a look at some of our favorites before we get started:

1. Survey Junkie

Who Can Join: 13+; United States, Canada, or Australia

Rewards: PayPal and various electronic gift cards

Cash Out Minimum: 1,000 points ($10)

Most surveys here are between $1 and $3 and take up to 20 minutes to complete. You’ll earn points for every successful survey completion and most members get at least one survey invite each week.

One of the things I like most about this site is that you will get your points immediately after finishing your survey, so you won’t have to wait around to see how much you’ve accumulated.

2. Vindale Research

Who Can Join: 18+; United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada

Rewards: Check or PayPal

Cash Out Minimum: $50

You can make $1 just for signing up for this panel, which pays in cash instead of points. Vindale Research is also known as having some of the highest payout amounts for its surveys, with some lengthier ones paying as much as $50.

There’s a high minimum payout amount in place, but if you’re an active panelist, it’s possible to still get a payment every month.

3. Swagbucks

Who Can Join: 13+; United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Australia, Ireland, India, France

Rewards: Various electronic gift cards

Cash Out Minimum: Varies by gift card, but you can cash out for as little as 200 SBs

Swagbucks is a reward site more than a survey site, but paid surveys are one of its many ways to earn money.

It’s by far my favorite reward site on the web because there’s so much to do and so many fun ways to get SBs, or points.

You’ll have a huge selection of gift cards to choose from, but I usually end up cashing out for PayPal, getting my cash in just a day or two!

4. Pinecone Research

Who Can Join: 18+; United States, United Kingdom, Canada

Rewards: Check, PayPal, and various gift cards

Cash Out Minimum: None after you complete your first survey

You’ve likely heard of Pinecone Research. It’s so popular that it’s become semi-exclusive, only allowing new members to join when the panel needs some new faces.

You’ll earn at least $3 per survey here and can cash out at any time.

5. Shoptracker

Who Can Join: United States residents

Rewards: VISA Prepaid card, Amazon and other gift cards

Cash Out Minimum: Varies depending on reward

Shoptracker is a free app from Harris Poll Online that rewards you for sharing your Amazon purchase history.

You can make up to $36 every year ($3 a month) for sharing the information, and you’ll earn $3 just for signing up.

Registration only opens occasionally through the year, so you may have to check back to see when spots are available.

6. YouGov

Who Can Join: 14+ for United States, 16+ for United Kingdom

Rewards: PayPal, VISA Prepaid card, various gift cards

Cash Out Minimum: 25,000 points

YouGov has a lot of important surveys that cover political and social issues, with some of the usual surveys mixed in. You can also earn some points for answering the polls on the site.

I love that YouGov lets you see some survey responses, too, so you can get an idea of where others in the community stand on important issues.

7. Ipsos i-Say

Who Can Join: 13+; worldwide

Rewards: PayPal, various gift cards, and sweepstakes for other prizes

Cash Out Minimum: $15

Ipsos i-Say has more of a community feel than other survey sites and it’s kind of fun taking part in the polls and other community questions and discussions.

You can also take individual surveys for points and take advantage of the Loyalty Program, which pays out bonus points when you climb the levels by reaching specific survey goals.

8. PointClub

Who Can Join: 13+; several countries accepted

Rewards: PayPal or various gift cards

Cash Out Minimum: 25,000 points ($25)

Sign up for PointClub and get $5 added to your account in points! You can even get bonus points after signing up by adding your social profiles to your account.

Most surveys pay between 200 to 2,000 points here, which is equal to $0.20 to $2.

9. SurveyClub

Who Can Join: 13+; United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia

Rewards: PayPal, Amazon gift code, check

Cash Out Minimum: $10

SurveyClub has a wide range of survey topics and reward amounts, including in-depth focus groups that pay $100 or more.

The site actually connects you with other survey panels and rewards you for completing their surveys. With survey listings all in one place, it’s easy to find ones that match your interests and desired payouts.

10. MyPoints

Who Can Join: 13+; Canada and United States

Rewards: PayPal and various gift cards

Cash Out Minimum: 700 points ($5)

MyPoints is a great place to go if you shop online and like taking surveys. Combine both here, where you can earn points for everything you do on the site, including shopping with MyPoints retail partners.

There are also paid coupons, videos, games, and more that can help you rack up points quickly.

11. Toluna Opinions

Who Can Join: 13+; worldwide

Rewards: PayPal, check, sweepstakes entries, and various gift cards

Cash Out Minimum: $5

Toluna has been around for a while and has evolved into one of my favorite places for online surveys.

The company works with some of the biggest brands around the world to bring you surveys about their products, services, and other things you can influence.

You can sign up for mobile invitations, too, to have Toluna text you when new surveys are ready for you to take on your mobile device.

12. Panda Research

Who Can Join: 18+; United States

Rewards: PayPal

Cash Out Minimum: $50

Sign up for Panda Research and get $3 for completing the initial survey (most members should qualify for it). This panel pays twice a month with PayPal and you can earn extra cash by reading paid emails sent by Panda Research about its advertising partners.

13. Springboard America

Who Can Join: 14+; United States

Rewards: Bank transfer, VISA Prepaid card, Amazon gift codes, sweepstakes entries

Cash Out Minimum: $50

Although it has a high minimum payout amount, Springboard America pays an average of $1 to $3 per survey, and some are even $5 or more. Members who fill out their profiles and stay active with the site can get several invites per month, making it possible to earn that $50.

14. MySurvey

Who Can Join: 14+ for Canada, 16+ for United States

Rewards: PayPal, prizes, sweepstakes entries, various gift cards

Cash Out Minimum: 1200 points ($10)

Take surveys on the web or your smartphone by downloading the MySurvey app for iOS and Android devices. Get extra points in addition to surveys by answering polls posted on the site.

15. Opinion Outpost

Who Can Join: 18+; United States, Canada, United Kingdom

Rewards: PayPal, iTunes and Amazon gift codes, charity donation, sweepstakes entries

Cash Out Minimum: $50 for most rewards

Opinion Outpost has some decent survey opportunities, but one thing its members like most is its quarterly cash prize drawings for $10,000. Every time you take a survey, you’re automatically placed in the drawing pool for a chance to win.

16. SurveySavvy

Who Can Join: 13+; worldwide

Rewards: Check

Cash Out Minimum: $1

SurveySavvy is unique in that it only requires members to earn $1 to cash out for a check. You can do that by completing just one survey here! For extra cash, download the SavvyConnect app, which collects information about your mobile internet usage for research purposes and pays you $5 a month just for keeping it installed and connected on your device. You can even install it on multiple devices and receive $5 per month for each device.

17. VIP Voice

Who Can Join: 13+; United States and Canada

Rewards: Sweepstakes and auction entries for various gift cards and prizes

Cash Out Minimum: Varies with sweepstakes or auction

VIP Voice works a little differently than other survey sites. You’ll earn points for every survey you complete, but you can’t put them directly toward a prize.

Instead, you’ll turn them in for entries into sweepstakes for vacations, cash prizes, and more, or you can use them to bid on auctions for gift cards or prizes of your choice.

18. InboxDollars

Who Can Join: 18+; worldwide

Rewards: Check or VISA gift card

Cash Out Minimum: $30

I’ve been an InboxDollars user for years now and I like it almost as much as Swagbucks, although I don’t make money as quickly here. I’m able to qualify for a lot of surveys, though, with some paying $5 or more.

The bonus tasks are helpful for earning quicker. You can find them on your dashboard with new ones available every week.

19. Branded Surveys

Who Can Join: 13+; United Kingdom, Canada, and United States

Rewards: PayPal and various gift cards

Cash Out Minimum: 1,000 points ($10)

Formerly MintVine, Branded Surveys has recently rebranded and seems to be a promising site based on reviews from people who are active with it. I used to use and enjoy MintVine, and Branded Surveys is even a step up from that, offering fun surveys and several invitations for members every month.

20. Prize Rebel

Who Can Join: 18+; worldwide

Rewards: PayPal, bank transfer, or various gift cards

Cash Out Minimum: Varies, but some prizes are as little as $5

PrizeRebel only talks about its surveys on its website landing page, but it also offers other tasks you can complete for points, like referring friends, watching videos, and completing free, paid, or trial offers for products or services.

Every 100 points equals $1, and members who work their way up to a Silver Level membership can cash out some prizes for as little as 200 points.

21. Tellwut

Who Can Join: 18+, United States and Canada

Rewards: Wide range of gift cards

Cash Out Minimum: 4,000 points ($10)

Tellwut has a wacky points system that I’m not fond of, but it’s an active panel with plenty of survey opportunities and a low payout threshold. Earn 100 points for registering and another 150 points for completing your initial profile surveys. Refer friends and earn a 25-point bonus for each one!

22. PaidViewpoint

Who Can Join: 13+; various countries

Rewards: PayPal, Walmart or Amazon gift cards

Cash Out Minimum: $15

PaidViewpoint is one survey site I haven’t tested, but I’ve read so many good things about it that I think it deserves a spot on this list.

Unlike other panels, members get pre-qualified for each survey on PaidViewpoint, so you won’t have to waste time answering a bunch of qualifying questions. Most surveys are short – 10 questions or less! – and pay between $0.10 and $0.20. You can get anywhere from 5 to 10 surveys per week.

With a 20% commission on everything your referrals make, this place could be one of the best survey sites for monthly cash.

23. National Consumer Panel

Who Can Join: 18+; United States

Rewards: Various gift cards, charity donations

Cash Out Minimum: Varies with rewards

National Consumer Panel comes from Nielsen and IRi, two top research companies. Download the app for your iOS or Android device and you can start earning money from scanning barcodes when you shop and answering quick surveys about the products you buy.

The companies collect data about the items you scan and purchase and use it for consumer research purposes.

24. Harris Poll Online

Who Can Join: 13+; United States and Canada

Rewards: Various gift cards

Cash Out Minimum: Varies with rewards, but some are as little as $10

I first started using Harris Poll Online close to 20 years ago when it was a newbie site and one of the few survey sites that existed. Even with all the others popping up, I continue to use this one because it has a lot of surveys that I qualify for.

Its rewards catalog is a major draw, too, offering gift cards for Amazon, Walmart, iTunes, and more.

25. E-Poll

Who Can Join: 13+; United States

Rewards: PayPal, various gift cards, sweepstakes entries, charity donations

Cash Out Minimum: 3,750 points ($5)

26. Valued Opinions

Who Can Join: 13+ depending on country; United States, United Kingdom, Australia

Rewards: Gift cards, airline miles, sweepstakes entries

Cash Out Minimum: $20

You can get paid as much as $5 for one survey at Valued Opinions. This panel also has occasional product testing opportunities for members that let you keep products to review, plus get compensated for your time.

27. Google Opinion Rewards

Who Can Join: Android users with the app available to them

Rewards: Google Play credits

Cash Out Minimum: None – you can use your points whenever you want in Google Play

As an Android user, I couldn’t pass up downloading Google Opinion Rewards. You can complete quick (I’m talking 3 to 5 questions!) surveys and make more than you would on most survey panels answering 30 questions or more.

I’ve answered 8-question surveys and made $1 for about 3 minutes of my time. Your cash goes directly into your Google Play account as a credit, so you can spend it on apps, music, or whatever else you want in the store.

28. Mindswarms

Who Can Join: 13+; several countries accepted

Rewards: $50 per survey

Cash Out Minimum: None – You’ll receive payment for every survey

Mindswarms is likely the future of online surveys. Instead of text-based surveys, this site offers video surveys where participants answer questions using their smartphone’s video feature. For a full, 7-question survey, you’ll get $50 paid via PayPal within 24 hours after the team reviews and accepts your submission.

29. Univox Community

Who Can Join: 13+; worldwide

Rewards: PayPal, VISA, or Amazon cards

Cash Out Minimum: 2,500 points ($25)

When you sign up for Univox Community, you’ll get an immediate $5 credited to your account. This panel sends 2 or 3 survey invites each week, and you can take surveys on your mobile device after downloading the app.

30. OneOpinion

Who Can Join: 13+; Canada, United Kingdom, United States

Rewards: PayPal, VISA Prepaid card

Cash Out Minimum: 25,000 points ($25)

OneOpinion is a solid company that pays relatively quickly and fairly. Most surveys are between $1 and $5, but lengthier ones can be $10 or more. The panel also has occasional product testing opportunities for members.

One of the best things about this company is its customer service, which is easy to get a hold of (a rarity in this industry!).
