Want to Earn Some Extra Money?

Have you often found yourself playing games or goofing off on your phone and thought, “I wish I could get paid to do this!”.

Smartphones are everywhere and many of us spend our idle moments at home on the couch or in the store playing with a variety of apps.

But it’s now possible to earn money from those apps. You may not be able to pay all your bills off, but you’ll have good reason to spend as much time as you want on your mobile device with these fun apps.

Here’s a list of the top 35 fun apps that pay currently available that can help you earn cash (or gift cards) while using your phone:

1. Ibotta

This app allows you to look online for special offers at various stores. When you purchase these items, you scan in the receipt and receive cash back.

The app currently works with most major grocery chains including Kroger, Publix, Food Lion, and Walmart as well as CVS and Walgreen’s pharmacies.

The best part? You get a $10 bonus when you sign-up and scan your first receipt.

2. Ebates

A very popular site, Ebates lets you shop with one of their affiliate companies.  You then scan your receipts and receive cash back from your purchase.

Currently, the site has a host of popular stores including Amazon, Old Navy, Walmart, Kohl’s, and Macy’s.

3. Perk TV

This app has a variety of ways for users to earn more rewards including surveys, secret shopper tasks, and videos along with scratch-off games.

According to their website, the app is handing out $51,000,000 in perks so far, including gift cards to various top-tier companies.

4. Shopkick

This app encourages you to shop, so it’s a win-win situation.  You can get points by going out, visiting stores, scanning barcodes of select products and purchasing items with a linked card.

But you can also earn from home by visiting online stores, viewing their products, and watching videos. You can get gift cards for many of the usual stores as well as a few others such as AMC Movie Theaters and Sephora.

5. ScreenLift

Here’s another app that allows you to change your lock screen by giving the app control.  When you unlock your phone, you view a short ad and earn points.

Also, your lock screen will display news stories and ads as well, but you don’t have to click these to get points.  Since the average person unlocks his or her phone about 100 times per day, this gives you an opportunity to really earn some money.

6. Acorns

Here’s an app that can help you set aside a nest egg for later.  This app links with your bank account and then rounds up all of your purchases for you.

The money that’s rounded up is then placed into an investment account that you can set between very conservative and very aggressive.

This helps to get those who are skittish about playing the market to stick their feet in the water and earn some money.

7. Inbox Dollars

This app takes a few different approaches and combines it into one platform.  You may be asked to take a survey or perform a task such as watching a video.

Once you’ve completed this and provided your feedback, you receive cash in your account.  The app has performed market research for a variety of top-tier companies including Target, Netflix, and H&R Block.

8. AppTrailers

A wrinkle on the “free app for points” format is AppTrailers which allows you to view an app through a trailer to decide if you like it or not.

16. Gigwalk

This app is another that allows you to take marketing field research jobs from different companies in order to earn cash.

17. Google Opinion Rewards

The payouts for these surveys are in PayPal or Google Play credits that can be cashed in for videos, apps, or books.

18. HealthyWage

This app helps you earn money and lose weight. That should make this app a no-brainer!

25. Lucktastic

26. Make Money Earn Free Cash
