Want to Earn Some Extra Money?

Update: This app is no longer working. We recommend trying Swagbucks, a great rewards app with many ways to earn.

Yet again we are introducing another mobile app that pays you for downloading apps and trying them out. Reward Box is completely free and is available for both iOS and Android devices. Furthermore, they also have an excellent referral program.

What Is Reward Box?

Reward Box is a free mobile app available for Android and iOS devices that pays you to download apps to your smartphone and try them out. All of the apps are 100% free and can be removed after testing them.

The basic requirement is that each app is installed and then opened, yet we highly recommend you leave them open for at least 30 seconds in order to guarantee that you’ll get credited for the app you download.

Each time you download an app you are rewarded Reward Box coins. These coins can be redeemed for gift cards to major retailers such as Google Play, iTunes or Amazon.

The amount you earn per app completely depends on the app you’re downloading, but expect to earn anywhere from 15 – 50 coins per download. 500 coins is equal to $1 and is also the minimum needed to cash out. It’s usually a good idea to save up for a while first, because the more coins you save, the higher value they will be worth ($5 Amazon GC for only 2250 points).

An Excellent Referral Program

Reward Box differs from most apps that pay you to download apps in its referral program. For each person you refer, you get 40% of all of their earnings. This is an incredibly high amount, and you also get paid for referrals under your referral. Here’s the payout rate:

  • 1st Level Referral: 40%
  • 2nd Level Referral: 20%
  • 3rd Level Referral: 10%
  • 4th Level Referral: 5%

This means that if you only refer one friend, but your friend refers a lot of people, you still have the potential to earn a lot of residual income. This means almost no work on your part except for downloading a few apps each day and cashing out for gift cards.

How Do I Get Started And Sign-Up For Reward Box?

Depending on the device that you have, the steps for downloading the Reward Box app may be a bit different. We’re going to break it down for you in 3 steps.

1. Download. If you have an Android device, you can download the app directly from the Google Play Store. iOS users have to use their Safari browser and first go to and download the app directly from their webpage. They will give you instructions on how to add it to your home screen.

2. Download apps. You can view the apps available for download by clicking on the “Offers” tab on the app home screen. Click on any app to download it, open it, and receive credit usually within 24 hours.

3. Claim your reward. Once you reach a minimum of 500 coins, you can claim them for a gift card to either iTunes, Amazon, or Google Play. They plan on adding more options in the near future. Again, the more you save, the more your coin value will increase.

4. Refer. This is definitely the easiest way to make money with Reward Box. Refer a friend and get 40% of their income, and then get a percentage of what their referrals earn.

Final Thoughts

Apps that pay you to download other apps offers one of the easiest ways to make some extra cash from your phone. Given all of the offers available, you could make an extra $5 – $10 a month on your own, and that’s not including the referral bonuses.
