Want to Earn Some Extra Money?

If you like playing games on your phone, you might as well make money for it. Lucktastic is a mobile app that pays you to scratch off virtual scratch cards.

It’s a great way to win prizes in your spare time, and there are even ways to win $5,000 dollars in cash instantly.

What is Lucktastic?

Lucktastic is a free, virtual scratch card that you play on your phone in exchange for cash and other prizes.

If you’re an iPhone user, it’s a web-based app meaning you can’t download it directly from the App Store and have to use the Safari Browser to install their software.

Android users can find it on the Google Play Store.

Playing scratch cards is the only game that’s available with Lucktastic and you will be given about 10 a day.

Before and after each scratch card is available an ad is presented.

By participating in ads or watching videos, you are granted tokens used to redeem prizes – this is how they make their money.

Each time you play a scratch ticket you can win either cash or more tokens.

Tokens can be used to enter sweepstakes for prizes or can be redeemed directly for gift cards.

However, you need a lot of tokens if you want to claim a prize directly.

Cash winnings can be withdrawn via PayPal or check.

There have been complaints that payments to take a while to process, but they eventually do come.

If you’re lucky enough, there are scratch tickets that reward incredible cash amounts of up to $5,000 dollars.

Your daily scratch cards only require about 10 minutes of time to complete, so you won’t be wasting much of your time trying to stay active.

How Do I Sign-Up And Get Started With Lucktastic?

Signing-Up with Lucktastic is very easy and can be done in 3 easy steps.

1. Download the app. You can download the app via your iPhone or Android device. For iPhone users, click here to go the Lucktastic main page. Click on “Get it on iPhone” to install their software. After that, you’ll be asked to add the app to your homescreen.

Android users can do a search in the Google Play Store or click here to download.

2. Register. Once the app is installed on your phone, click the settings button in the right-hand corner of the app and follow the steps listed. You’ll be required to enter some personal information such as your name and email. You must register in order to claim prizes.

3. Earn tokens. You can earn tokens by watching ads, downloading apps to your phone or by playing scratch tickets.

4. Scratch tickets. On average, you will receive ten scratch cards per day that you can play for free. This usually only takes 5-10 minutes to complete. Each time you play you’ll usually receive a few tokens just for participating, but it’s quite difficult to earn cash.

5. Cash out. You can use your tokens to play more games, enter contests, or get instant rewards. I prefer using them for instant rewards because I know that I’ll eventually receive my reward. If you earn cash, you can cash out directly in the form of a Visa Gift Card, PayPal or a check.

How Much Can I Make With Lucktastic?

The fact that I can get through all of my scratch minutes in just 10 minutes per day is the reason I’m still sticking with Lucktastic.

I get to take a quick break and play a game with the chance to make money.

From scratch tickets alone, the most I have ever won directly is $1 dollar. As for tokens, usually I only win 5 – 10 tokens per scratch ticket (or 50 -100 tokens daily). You need a minimum 15,000 tokens to cash out for instant rewards (gift cards).

By doing this, it’s going to take you a long time to cash out. That’s why I only recommend this app for those who want to take a short break out of their day to earn some cash.

If you’re interested in entering sweepstakes, you only need 50 tokens to enter. However, the chances of winning are slim to none, and I’ve personally never been able to snag anything.

How Can I Earn Even More?

Lucktastic has a pretty generous referral program. Each friend you refer gets you 500 tokens in your account. If you’d like to support FFL, use our referral link here.

I’d greatly appreciate it!

Final Thoughts

Lucktastic isn’t for those who are looking to make some serious cash.

I recommend using it when you want to take a quick break from your day and play some free virtual scratch tickets and earn some extra cash.

The tokens that you earn can be redeemed for instant rewards, sweepstakes, or other scratch tickets.

What a great idea from Lucktastic. I think it should catch on because people like to play scratch cards for fun as well as winning.

I have the same question here as I’ve had in another post: Is this an app that’s ‘simple’ enough to be played on a relatively cheap smartphone, such as LG Optimus Fuel you’ve recommended in other posts ( https://www.frugalforless.com/make-20month-in-passive-income-with-the-chargerpay-app/ ). Ironically, I think the best use for this app isn’t the money that could be won, but the money people could save by NOT buying traditional lotto tickets (especially folks who struggle with gambling addictions and feel a bit of a “thrill” from scratchers). It’s certainly more convenient to get it directly on a phone instead of walking to the store, and the option of playing it on a cheap phone might actually help people who want to reduce their gambling but have a bit of trouble doing so (sort of analogous to nicotene patches for cigarette users trying to quit). Any thoughts?

On a somewhat related note, I notice that lotteries in most states have a sort of “2nd Chance” program that can be played for free with any losing tickets. The program is prominently displayed on every scratcher, but still I notice people littering losing tickets all around gas stations & convenience stores. Could it be that some folks might feel the same (or similar) level of excitement by picking up these littered tickets and entering the 2nd chance for free? Heck, once in a while I actually discover a discarded WINNING ticket (the 2nd chance website tells you if you haven’t entered the code from a losing ticket). Could this be a good thing for people to know? https://youtu.be/HPpyg6c_rf0

As another alternative, could you also recommend the “2nd Chance” program offered by many state lotto programs? Apparently people have a chance to win money with all those losing tickets littered across the ground… https://youtu.be/HPpyg6c_rf0

For that matter, is this another app that can be played on the $20 LG Optimus Fuel smartphone (as you’ve recommended in other posts: https://www.frugalforless.com/make-20month-in-passive-income-with-the-chargerpay-app/ )? It seems to me that using this app as an alternative to traditional scratcher tickets could be a good, convenient way to SAVE money. 10 Scratchers per day is equivalent to at least $300/month, all without taking the trouble of walking to the store…. so spending $20 for a phone seems like a rather economical hobby for folks who like the fun & thrill of the lottery =)

I would agree! However, the ChargerPay app has been having some bugs on the Fuel for me. It still runs, but sometimes I have to restart it. I haven’t tried it yet on higher-end phones, but am actually planning to order a Samsung 3 mini this week just to test it out. Email me at frugal@frugalforless.com if you want to see how it works, or post here again in a week so I don’t forget to respond!

What is the equivalency of tokens to cash? I see that I can convert my tokens to cash. So if I have 10,000 how much cash is that?
