The YooLotto App Pays You For Non-Winning Lotto Tickets

Want to Earn Some Extra Money?

For those of you who frequently purchase lotto tickets and don’t win anything, you know how frustrating it can be. Not only is it disappointing, but it’s a dent in your wallet as well. The YooLotto App is here to help fix that problem. If you have a lotto ticket that’s not a winner, scan it to the app and earn cool prizes. Not only that, but they also pay you for other tasks as well.

What Is YooLotto?

YooLotto is a free mobile app that’s available for both Android and iOS devices. YooLotto strongly believes in second chances and that the earnings don’t stop with a losing ticket. Instead of throwing your ticket away, you can take a picture of it with the app and get a chance to earn some extra cash.

Keep in mind that YooLotto pays you for either winning or losing lotto tickets. If you happen to win, YooLotto will pay you the amount that you’ve won. If you lose, you earn points called Yoobux which can later be exchanged for cash. 1 Youbux is equal to $.01 cent USD.

There’s also a wide range of other tasks you can complete to earn with YooLotto. Here’s a list of what you can do to get some extra cash with this app. We’ll cover more in detail what each one means below.

  • Playing games
  • Daily check-in
  • Watching videos
  • Mobile lottery
  • Scan lotto tickets

It’s important to complete as many tasks as possible in one day because you might not see the same ones available tomorrow. The amount of Yoobux you can earn depends on the task you’re completing. Once you reach a minimum of 100 Youbux ($1 USD), you can cash out to your PayPal account or for gift cards. Registration is completely free.

How Much Can I Earn With YooLotto?

We’re going to break down how much each task typically pays so that you have a sound idea of which tasks are worth your time. Keep in mind that 1 Youbux is equal to $.01 cent USD. The amount of cash you can earn is unlimited, and it may take up to a maximum of 24 hours for your rewards to reflect in your account.

Watch & Earn

This is one of the easiest ways to earn some extra cash with YooLotto, and it’s a quick way to earn some YouBux. You get paid for watching video ads directly from the app. The best part? It’s completely automatic, meaning you don’t have to click on a button to go to the next ad. This means you’re essentially earning a passive income.

From their original launch, the payout has been reduced dramatically, but it’s still not bad considering the amount of work that you have to put in. On average you can only earn $.01 cent every 20 videos, and each video on average is 30 seconds in length. Given its ease of use, we do recommend this task. Keep in mind that sometimes the app will take a while to load to find new videos.

Scanning Lotto Tickets

Scanning losing lotto tickets is why YooLotto was created in the first place. Whether you’re ticket is a winner or not, you’ll get paid no matter what. If it’s a losing ticket, you get 25 Yoobux. If you’re a winner, you get paid the amount that you’re supposed to win on the ticket. We do recommend this section since it only takes a few seconds to scan your receipt. Just be sure that you hold the device flat and steady, and that you take a picture of the entire lotto ticket.

Daily Check-In

By checking-in each day, you automatically get 1 Youbux. All you have to do is click on the check-in button and you’re instantly rewarded. We do recommend this section since it’s incredibly simple and literally only takes a second to complete.

Mobile Lottery

You don’t have to go to the store to participate in the lottery since YooLotto has their own mobile lottery program. Here you can either play Fantasy MegaMillions or Fantasy Powerball. Each time you play it costs a certain amount of Yoobux depending on how many chances you want to take. I personally do not recommend doing this. Most likely you will end up losing your hard-earned Yoobux since it’s incredibly difficult to win.

Games also require you to have Youbux to play. You can choose to either play scratch tickets or the slot machine. Just like the Mobile Lottery, more likely than not you will not end up a winner. Therefore, we do not recommend this section unless you simply enjoy the thrill of gambling.

How Do I Get Started With YooLotto?

Getting started with the YooLotto app is incredibly simple. However, in order to make sure you don’t miss any steps, we’re going to break it down in detail in just 3 easy steps.

1. Register.

You can register for a new YooLotto account by downloading their mobile app here. It’s currently available for iOS and Android devices with no fee to register. All you need is an email or Facebook account.

2. Complete tasks.

Complete any of the 5 tasks that we mentioned above to earn Yoobux. You can find all of them on the main menu or the home screen. YooLotto has mentioned expanding and including a referral program, but as of right now we are uncertain as to when they will implement it. We highly recommend watching videos out of any other task since it’s such an easy task to complete, and the videos play automatically without any need for you to participate.

3. Cash out.

Once you earn a minimum of 100, you can cash out for $1 or for other cash prizes. All payments are made in the form of PayPal or gift cards.

Is YooLotto Worth It?

If you’re a person who frequently purchases lotto tickets and are fatigued at feeling disappointed with not winning, then YooLotto is an excellent idea. This way at least you feel like you’re getting something back. There’s a lot of lotto tickets that only cost $1. Spend this amount and get 25 cents back per ticket – that’s a 25% savings!

For those who don’t purchase lotto tickets on a frequent basis, we still recommend using YooLotto. This is because you can easily earn lots of cash by simply letting your phone run videos for hours on end. As long as your phone doesn’t crash, you’re basically earning a passive income.

You Can Run Up To 10 Devices Per Household

After doing some investigating, we found out that you can have a maximum of 10 devices per household. With this in mind, we could potentially run 10 phones at a time all playing video ads from the YooLotto app, increasing our earnings by 10 times. Once you’re done setting up all the phones, it won’t require any extra work due to videos playing automatically one after another.

If you’re looking to get the cheapest phone possible for running YooLotto videos smoothly, we recommend the LG Optimus Zone 3. It only costs $20 – $30 on Amazon, and you’ll quickly earn your money back. We suggest purchasing one phone at a time. When you earn enough to pay off the first phone, buy a second one, then a third, etc.

Final Thoughts

We hope that YooLotto soon gets a referral program going as well as other tasks added to their repertoire. While they have mentioned expansion, they still haven’t given us any clues as to when these changes will take place.

YooLotto is great for buyers of lotto tickets as well as those who are just looking to earn some extra cash in their spare time. If you’ve used the YooLotto app, we’d love to hear about your experience with it down below. Thanks for reading and happy frugaling!
