Want to Earn Some Extra Money?

Thanks to the invention of the internet, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo and even free food are just some of the items that you can obtain for free. Many companies give away free samples as a form of marketing in order to lure in new customers to purchase their product.

One problem is the difficulty in finding where these free samples are. Fortunately, many communities and websites have been formed to help you of how to apply for these free samples and where to get them.

We’ve looked at many of these so-called freebie websites and have ranked them from 1 to 10. If you think that we left one out or there’s a ranking that should be moved, feel free to let us know in the comments below. Otherwise, enjoy your free gifts.

1. SlickDeals

Slickdeals was originally intended to be a website to help its users find killer deals on electronics. However, over the years they have greatly expanded their freebies section. Ever day thousands of forum members contribute to the freebies page. What makes this website so great for finding freebies is that there’s so much traffic that the variety of free stuff on this website is massive. Furthermore, each post is rated by the community members, meaning you can check if the deal is good before you even apply.

2. Reddit Freebies

An entertainment, social networking service and news site, Reddit serves as a registered community in which its members can submit content such as posts or direct links. Due to its large traffic base and interaction between its members, the freebies SubReddit is continually updated by community members posting direct links to freebies. Their freebies section is very similar to Slickdeals and also has a form of rating links and posts. Both of these sites have a strict moderating system, so you don’t have to worry about fake links.

3. The Free Site

The Free Site has it all, anywhere from free dating services to free MP3’s. Their aim is not only to display physical products but services as well. If you’re trying to find a freebie within a specific category, this freebie website is for you. The uniqueness and variety of the samples that they have to offer is what puts this site at number 3 on our top 10 list.

4. Volition

Volition makes the list due to its massive size, which may take some time to explore. Don’t be fooled by its plain design, as there are plenty of freebies that can be found after browsing for a couple of minutes. When it comes to variety, this website wins hands-down.

5. Hunt 4 Freebies

This website is designed specifically for freebies. Hunt 4 Freebies has to be one of the most updated freebie website on the web today, updated 24/7. Sometimes as many as 3-4 free samples are posted daily, and more popular deals will be re-posted in order to continually remind its users of the great deals available. Samples are also arranged by category with a brief and clear description of how to apply.

6. Hey Its Free!

Similar to Hunt 4 Freebies, Hey Its Free offers an ample variety of both digital and physical free samples. Their website has an easy-to-use layout, and applying for samples usually requires no effort. Very clear instructions are given on each new post. One great deal that I have found on this website is a free 6-month premium service to UPS. I couldn’t find this on any of the other freebie websites.

7. That Freebie Site

While not updated as often as their counterparts, That Freebie Site still offers some great samples that cannot be found on other websites. Some of the more common samples include magazine subscriptions and promos on flights instead of the traditional, physical free samples. It’s always great to check back here once in a while to see what specials they are currently offering.

8. Simply 4 Free

The one thing that attracts me most to Simply 4 Free is their simple layout. It’s mostly ad-free, and you can easily click on a direct link in order to get a sample. Most of their samples include physical products such as shampoo, tea and other items that you use on a daily basis.

9. stands out from the crowd by also posting how to get samples by signing-up for newsletters through specific restaurants. For example, through the IHOP newsletter, you can get a free meal 3 times a year: when you sign-up, the 1-year anniversary from when you sign-up and your birthday. This website doesn’t rank higher because samples are often repeated and there are only at most 2 of them posted per day.

10. Twisted Branches

This freebie website definitely deserves to be in the top 10 due to the amount of effort it packs into finding free samples. While the layout may not be as simple to use, I often find deals on here that I would not normally find on other freebie sites. They go above and beyond by posting sweepstakes that you can enter with no strings attached.
