Toy Talks Review – Earn Cash Prizes Giving Opinions On Toys You Buy For Your Kids

Introduction

If you’re a parent and buy toys at least four times a year for your child, Toy Talks is a great way to earn some extra cash. Give your opinions and honest feedback on your toy shopping experience in exchange for free gift cards and prizes.

What Is Toy Talks?

Toy Talks is an online research company that seeks to gain insight when it comes to shopping for children. Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle; as long as you’ve bought toys at least 4 times within the past year you’ll be eligible to join.

The reason Toy Talks is able to pay you for your opinion is because they place a high value on your feedback when shopping for toys. They sell your feedback to companies who can use it in market research, ultimately helping them to improve their products and services. All of the opinions you provide are kept completely anonymous.

In exchange for answering questionnaires and participating in the forums Toy Talks forum, you get the chance to win cash prizes. The more you participate, the higher chances you have to earn.

Here’s a a quick summary of the pros and cons of Toy Talks:

Pros
  • Registration is completely free – never sign-up for a survey site that asks for payment information
  • Toy Talks sends you email notifications when new questionnaires are available
  • If you’re eligible to join Toy Talks, you’re going to be eligible for all of their surveys – a lot of survey sites let you join and decline you for certain surveys, even after you start them
  • Your feedback goes to improving the toy shopping experience for others
  • Learn about new toys and new ideas by participating in forums with others that buy toys for kids
  • There’s a wide variety of ways to earn prizes
Cons
  • Toy Talks doesn’t give any indication to a set amount of money that you’ll earn
  • When you participate in activities, you’re entered into drawings for prizes rather than being able to earn points and cash out
  • There’s no selection in the type of prize that you’ll receive
  • Can be difficult to determine how often you’ll be entered into a drawing

How Do I Get Started With Toy Talks?

Signing-up with Toy Talks is incredibly simple. In order to make sure you don’t miss any steps, we’re going to break down the process in detail. Remember, in order to be eligible you must have bought toys for a young one at least 4 times within the past year.

1. Register.

You can register for a free Toy Talks account by clicking this link here. The first thing you’ll need to do is complete a survey to determine your eligibility. Once you get accepted, don’t forget to verify your email.

2. Sign-in and participate.

Go ahead and log-in and go to the Activities section. When you first register, there won’t be that many activities available for you to complete. Yet the more you participate the more activities they’ll send you. You can also participate by answering their polls (often daily) on their homepage.

3. Introduce yourself.

In my opinion, one of the best features of Toy Talks is that you have the opportunity to talk with like-minded parents. Introduce yourself in the forum and get to know others who are in a similar situation.

4. Win prizes.

Each time you participate in an activity – posting in forums, answering polls, giving feedback, etc. – you’ll have the chance to be entered in one of their prize drawings. Winnings can include anything from a free gift card or a wide variety of products, often free toys.

Is Toy Talks Worth It?

It’s incredibly difficult to determine an hourly rate with Toy Talks. This is because on their site they don’t state anywhere how much you earn per activity. Not only that, but instead of cashing out directly for cash prizes, you’re only entered in drawings.

Based on my personal opinion, you should only join Toy Talks if you’re genuinely interested or involved in buying toys for young ones. This way you can learn about new toys and help improve the shopping experience while still being able to earn some extra cash at the same time.

Another downside is that there isn’t a way to decide which type of prize you’ll earn. Toy Talks is known to give prizes such as free gift cards, but they may also send you random toys.

What Are Some Other Great Ways To Earn Money?

If you’ve run out of activities to participate in with Toy Talks and want to keep earning more money, here’s quick list of some of our favorite programs for earning money. The great thing about these programs is that you’ll always know how much you earn before you start. For those who want to earn even more, find out how I was earning $300+ per month with these 10 survey sites.

1. Ibotta

Ibotta is one of my favorite money making apps of all time. Get paid to take pictures of grocery receipts with your phone, earning you anywhere between $.25 cents to $5 per offer. Not only that, but you get a $10 bonus when you use the promo code qFTVA and scan your first receipt. A minimum of $20 is needed to withdraw for cash or gift cards.

While Ibotta originally started out as a receipt scanning app for groceries, they’ve now expanded to electronics, prescriptions restaurants, alcohol and many other offers.

Keep in mind that in order to earn cash back with Ibotta, you need to buy an offer that’s listed on the app at one of their participating locations. However, since they’ve been around for a few years, this shouldn’t be a problem as they have hundreds and hundreds of offers available.

The great thing about Ibotta is that since the cash back they give you is considered a rebate, you can use the same receipt and earn cash back with other receipt scanning apps also.

2. PointClub

PointClub is one of the highest earning survey sites that I’ve encountered. Expect to at a rate of roughly $7 – $15 per hour. Not only that, but you also get a $5 sign-up bonus just for being a new member.

For every 5 consecutive days you log-in with PointClub, your earnings automatically increase by 10% until you reach a maximum of a 100% bonus. However, once you skip a day, your bonus sets back to zero. This is the best way to make the maximum of around $15 per hour.

Registration is completely free and you need a minimum of $25 to cash out for gift cards or deposits to PayPal. Although the minimum is a bit high, you shouldn’t have much trouble reaching it.

3. Digital Reflection Panel

Digital Reflection Panel is one of the best passive income rewards programs available. Get paid to install an internet meter on your home router. You get a $50 bonus when you install the meter and add your first device. From there, you earn an additional $10/month by leaving the meter installed with a bonus every 3 months.

Digital Reflection Panel tracks aspects such as what type of browser you’re using and your internet speed. They even have a support team to help you in case you get stuck installing the meter. By adding up all of the bonuses, you have the potential to earn up to $170 in passive income your first year.

Note: You can unsubscribe to Digital Reflection Panel at any time. Also keep in mind that the $50 bonus is awarded to you the month after you’ve qualified for it.
