About the Scholarship
At FrugalForLess.com, we believe in supporting the next generation of financially savvy individuals. Every year, we offer a $1,000 scholarship to one student who can demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness when it comes to making or saving money. This scholarship renews annually — if you don't win this year, you're welcome to apply again next year.
Essay Requirement
Submit an essay of 800 words or less describing:
"The most creative, strange, or interesting way that you've made or saved money in the past year."
We're looking for original, honest, and creative responses. Tell us your story — whether it's a side hustle, a clever saving strategy, or something completely unexpected.
Eligibility
- Must be a U.S. Permanent Resident or authorized to study in the U.S.
- Currently enrolled in or entering a U.S. college or university
- Minimum 3.0 GPA required
- Must complete all requirements before the deadline
Timeline
This scholarship renews yearly. Unsuccessful applicants are welcome to reapply in subsequent rounds.
