What Is Digital Reflection Panel?
The Digital Reflection Panel tracks internet usage on different types of devices in your home.
This includes mobile devices, tablets, gaming consoles and even specific kitchen appliances.
This data is then sold to companies in order to help them improve their products and services.
When you install their software on your router, all you have to do is let Digital Reflection do the work for you. Receive cash for installing their internet meter and completing your first device update. After that, you can sit back and relax and earn a passive, monthly income.
Digital Reflection Panel tracks your internet usage by asking you to install an Internet meter on your wireless router.
This takes roughly 5 minutes to install. In order to make sure that you install it properly, you’ll be given instructions as well as access to their support staff in case you need it. Registration is completely free.
How Much Can I Earn With Digital Reflection Panel?
Digital Reflection pays you for completing certain tasks. Once installation is complete, all of the income you generate will be completely passive.
You can quickly earn up to $50 your first month by installing the internet meter and completing your first device update. After that, expect to earn $10 each full month. Every three months you get a bonus for keeping your meter installed and completing all device updates.
If you calculate all of this out, we can expect to earn a minimum of $170 per calendar year, $120 of which is completely passive. With the bonuses that occur every three months, it’s more than likely that you will pass this amount. As for each year after, you won’t receive the $50 installation and first device update bonus of $50.
How Is My Information Used?
You may be wondering about what type of information is collected from the Digital Reflection Panel. The more devices you register with the internet meter, the more information they will collect and thus the higher your bonuses will be.
The meter collects information regarding what websites you visits, the type of browsers you use, search engines and other devices that you may use to access the web. Keep in mind that nay data that they use for market research will be kept anonymous.
The information they gather is typically shared with business clients that need data regarding the web in order to improve their products and services. The Panel itself may also use this information with select partners in order to help them understand current internet trends.
How Do I Get Started With Digital Reflection Panel?
It can be quite confusing getting an account setup with the Digital Reflection Panel. In order to ensure that you don’t miss anything, we’re going to walk you through the process in detail. This can be completed in just 5 easy steps.
1. Take a short survey.
You can setup a new account with the Digital Reflection Panel by clicking this link here. This link will take you to a short 10 question survey to determine your eligibility for the program. As long as you have an internet router installed in your home, you shouldn’t have any problem being accepted into the program.
3. Install the internet meter.
After you finish registration, Digital Reflection will send you specific instructions about how to install the internet meter. If you ever need help, they have a support staff to assist you. Earn $10 per month in passive income once installation is complete. Every time you leave the meter on for three months consecutively, you receive a bonus.
How Else Can I Earn A Passive Income?
If you decide to register with the Digital Reflection Panel, your passive income stream doesn’t have to stop there. Other rewards programs can help you increase your earnings. We’re going to list our top 5 here.
Cross Media Panel pays you for browsing the web. Unlike the Digital Reflection Panel, you don’t have to install a device on your internet router. All you have to do is install a plugin with Google Chrome.
If you decide to sign-up for the panel, you can earn points that can be exchanged for gift cards to mainstream retailers such as Starbucks or Amazon. Once the plugin is installed, no additional work is required on your part. All you have to do from here on out is simply choose when to cash out and what gift card you receive.
You must be currently residing in the US to participate. You can have a total of three different devices registered through the program. This will give you an installation bonus of $6 with a weekly bonus of $3. This means you receive a passive income of $12 per month. This is pretty good since you don’t have to do anything after installation.
Datacoup keeps tracks of your social media accounts and pays you for it. They strongly believe that all of the date you give out is valuable, and in turn you should be receive money for it.
The data they collect (like all of these programs) is completely anonymous. It’s used to help companies improve their products and services. You can link your Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest accounts and others along with your bank accounts and credit cards so they can track how you spend your money.
The more accounts you link with Datacoup, the more cash you will receive. You need a minimum of $5 to cash out, and just with social media account alone I can usually earn an extra $3 – $5 per month. While it isn’t a very high amount, I’m not doing any work on my end aside from cashing out.
GiftCrush is a fairly new mobile app that pays you to collect information about your smartphone. The great thing about this app is that it’s available for both Android and iOS devices.
Once you leave the app on your device for one full day, you’ll automatically receive a $1 bonus. From there on out, expect to earn $5 per month. You won’t get paid for the days you don’t use your phone. The app will quietly run in the background and shouldn’t slow down your phone.
They usually make payments every four months, so you should receive payments of $20 three times a year or $60 per year in passive income. This app specifically keeps track of how you use your phone, but none of your text message content or phone numbers that call. Everything else is completely anonymous.
Like GiftCrush, MobileXpression is another mobile app that collects data about your cell phone usage. Simply install the app, leave it installed in the background and get paid for it.
Within the first few weeks, you’ll be given a $5 Amazon gift card as a new member bonus. From there on out expect to make $20 per year. Again, you usually can’t make a lot of money with these passive income programs. However, if you have enough of them, adding them up can generate some decent cashflow.
This is one of my favorite rewards apps out there since it’s so easy to use. The income is completely passive, and all you need to do is install the app on your smartphone. The app can be installed on a maximum of 3 devices earning you a total of $6 per month.
Payments can be made in the form of gift cards and also for direct deposits to PayPal. If you want to earn some extra cash, you can also install their VPN software. However, if you do decide to do this, proceed with caution.
Many rewards programs out there do not allow a VPN to be installed on your device. Doing so may risk your other rewards accounts getting banned, including the ones listed in this article. We suggest just sticking with the $6 per month.
If you like not doing any work for some extra income, the Digital Reflection Panel is something you should highly consider. Once installation is complete, all you have to do is receive your payment. Your first year will net you $170 plus bonuses and your second year $120 plus bonuses.
If you want to keep increasing your passive income earnings, there are plenty of other passive income programs you can participate in. We’ve put together a short list of 8 passive rewards programs that can earn you an extra $676 per year.
If you have experience using Digital Reflection Panel, we’d love to hear about it – especially if you’ve installed their internet meter. Otherwise, feel free to write any other questions or comments down below. Thanks for reading and happy frugaling!
